Manuel Tomás is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Basque Centre for Climate Change. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of the Basque Country (2025). He completed his Bachelor's degree in Economics (2018), followed by a Master's degree in Sustainable Growth and Development (2019). He has held academic roles as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (2019) and as a Visiting Assistant in Research at Yale University (2023). His research explores consumer behaviour through various economic modelling approaches to assess the economic, environmental, and social impacts of energy and climate policies.
